At etrek, we honor the courage it takes to grow and the sacredness of seeking. Life’s most meaningful adventures don’t happen at the finish line, but as we walk side by side - with curiosity in our eyes and compassion in our hearts.

WHY WE WALK THIS PATH

The etrek Journey is offered as a gift, because we believe spiritual growth belongs to everyone. Transformation doesn’t come all at once - it flows step by step, through reflection, learning, and practice. Along the way, travelers discover that the Journey is not only about inner growth, but also about love made visible in the world.

The Backpack holds simple tools: weekly Trailmarker emails to guide the way, the Digital Campfire for connection, eCircles for gathering, Cairns to mark milestones, and opportunities to serve through the Trail Map. Together, these rhythms turn intention into transformation.

We believe the Journey is spiritual at its core. The Enneagram is our framework - a map that transcends traditions and rituals, enriching whatever practice or faith you already carry. If there is a destination, it is this: to realize that we are all on the trail together, walking toward a more humane and life-giving spirituality.

A Journey Best Shared

The trail is best walked in community. In eCircles, travelers gather in homes, cafés, parks, or online to reflect, share stories, and encourage one another. These aren’t classrooms with teachers - they’re circles of belonging, where wisdom is shared, growth is celebrated, and service becomes a lived practice.

In this rhythm of reflection and action, we learn that every step matters. Together, we create ripples of kindness, healing, and hope that reach far beyond ourselves.

The Ongoing Story

etrek is not about hierarchy or structure - it is about the Journey itself. Each traveler chooses their Path, each traveler carries a Backpack, and each traveler contributes to the trail ahead. Over time, the map grows - not only in the places we meet, but in the lives we touch.

Is etrek connected to a specific religion? +

No. We believe the Journey is spiritual at its core, but it isn’t tied to any one religion or tradition. The Enneagram is a framework that helps people grow no matter their background. Our hope is that etrek enriches your existing practices - whether rooted in faith, philosophy, or your own rhythms of reflection - rather than replacing them.

What makes etrek unique? +

We’re grateful for the many voices and communities already sharing the wisdom of the Enneagram. At etrek, we hope to add to that rich field by offering a different expression: one rooted in story, metaphor, and shared practice. Our Enneagration Compass and Trail Map invite travelers to live the Enneagram as a journey - through reflection, service, and community.

Why do you call this a Journey? +

Because growth unfolds step by step, like a trek on a trail. The Journey language helps travelers see spiritual integration not as a single insight, but as an ongoing adventure. With a Path to walk, a Backpack of resources, and companions along the way, transformation becomes something lived - week by week, together.

How can you offer the Journey for free? +

We see the Journey as a gift. Choosing a Path, receiving weekly Trailmarker emails, connecting in the Digital Campfire, and joining eCircles are all free because we believe spiritual growth belongs to everyone. etrek is sustained by optional paid offerings - like Gear Up Sessions with certified Guides - that provide deeper, personalized support.

What if I don’t know my Enneagram type? +

You don’t need to be certain to begin. At etrek, you simply choose the Path that resonates most with you right now and start walking it. This is an experiential journey - meant to be discovered as you go. If another Path feels like a better fit later, you can switch anytime. Everything in your Backpack will remain, but your Trailmarker emails will restart fresh, guiding you through that Path’s unique journey. And if you’d like extra clarity, you can always schedule a Gear Up Session with a certified Guide for personalized support.

What role do Guides play? +

Guides are trained and certified travelers who walk with you when you want more clarity or support. They don’t hand you answers - they hold space for your story, helping you explore your Enneagram results and use the Enneagration Compass in meaningful ways. Because of the time and training involved, Guide sessions carry a small fee, but the heart of the Journey remains free to all.

Is etrek for beginners or advanced students of the Enneagram? +

Both. If you’re new, etrek offers simple, guided steps to help you get started. If you’ve been studying the Enneagram for years, the Enneagration Compass and Trail Map provide fresh ways to live out what you know through service and community. Wherever you are on the path, there’s always another step to take.
